These pistachios have much more flavor than the domestic ones. Most of these can be opened by hand. The other 1% or 2% are easily opened with a nutcracker.

I was hoping these pistachios would taste like Persian pistachios which are the best in the world (not just for the type but for the method of roasting). They do taste similar so I really appreciate that but they feel too oily on the palette (and heavy as a result) which makes me stop eating them after I have had a handful or I eat them mixed with regular american style (Costco brand) pistachios which are very dry and non oily.

I've been buying Turkish Antep pistachios from Nuts in Bulk for several years now. They make a great Christmas gift as stocking stuffers or Holiday gift for customers. My company purchases between 50 to 100 pounds per year. You can't beat the taste of the Antep variety as they are the closest to the ones we used to get when I was a kid in the late 50's and early 60's, but without the red stain on your fingers. I'm guessing the early ones were from Iran that's why we don't see them any more. Try them you'll love them.

For me, these pistachios are the best tasting ones. The price and shipping rates are reasonable. I never have had a problem with am order. It is difficult to get these nuts in bulk. It is great to have this option.

I've loved these imported pistachios over 25 years when I first discovered them. Although I was used to the red dyed variety, Turkish pistichios are a bit smaller and natural without coloring added. The taste is distinct unlike the California variety. Although Iranian pistachios are known world wide as the absolute best, Turkish are the next best thing you can buy as Iranian pistachios are not legal to import to this country. The price has jumped since my last order. I will still buy them and savor every bite. If you never tried them, you owe it to your taste buds.

Originally I ordered 1 lb packages of this and loved the pistachios. So, I ordered 2 more 1-lb packages and a 5 lb package (to share with family on a trip)...the 5 lb has quite a few bad pistachios, I would say that 25 % are not opened at all or contain nuts that are bad, I mean bad to the point that they are not edible. Many times you can't get the nut out of the shell even if it is cracked a bit. So, IF I buy again, I will only buy small packages.

These pistachios had a creamy taste that was delightful. I will order this again. The nut itself was quite a bit smaller than other pistachios but I like that because I ate less and enjoyed them just as much as the larger ones. They were perfectly salted.

I was very surprise how great these nuts tasted I will be buying from this company from now on. Use to but from nuts online but there nuts are not near as tasty.

These Turkish pistachios are so good I remembered them fondly from 2005 when I bought a bag and then sat and looked at the Pantheon in Rome for the first time. I was afraid Superior's nuts would disappoint -- but they certainly did not. Unforgettable flavor.

Tastiest pistachios around. Even have a great fantastic aroma. These nuts truly are a treat. None better. Superior's price is excellent and the shipping very reasonable. It is my first order with Superior and I will be back.

These are true Turkish pistachios and have the great, unique flavor that distinguishes them from the more bland California pistachios. Excellent!

I've always loved this style of pistachios. Always Super fast shipping and a great product. However this time, the pistachios didn't have alot of flavor. But I will buy again!

Arrived before I had a chance to phone my daughter that they were coming, her husband loves these Pistachios. I always get them for him for Xmas, and this year he received it as a gift for his birthday. He is more than pleased as a matter of fact he said these were the best tasking ones he has ever got.

After eating these, I can never go back to California pistachios. Though a smaller nut, they a packed with taste and are most like the pistachios I ate as a child. (They were from Iran, but since the Iranian Revolution, aren't available in the US.)

The Anteps are the tastiest pistachios I have ever eaten. Very few inopenable nuts (less that 2 or 3 pct, I'd guess). A little pricey, but far superior to the California giants.

Although I usually purchase my pistachios from Nuts on the Net, I've been disappointed with their quality of late. I called to complain and they said I could send them back. I told them that they need a quality assurance program so the nuts will be good. So, you are about $5 more but there are far fewer non edible nuts in your bag.

I was very happy with my purchase... the pistachios were fresh and very tasty.... shipping was very fast also.. I only eat Antep pistachios...... the CA ones are horrible... I do wish I could order the ones from Iran..they are a bit better than the ones from Turkey....

Anyone who has had pistachios imported from Turkey such as Zenobias will not be disappointed by these Antep Pistachios.The flavor is much stronger than any pistachios grown in the U.S.

These are much smaller than California pistachios and have a different flavor, texture and shell. I had never had these particular pistachios before and would gladly put them on my order again the next time.

Turkish Antep Pistachios (1 Pound Bag) Colossal Pistachios (1 Pound Bag) White Jordan Almonds (5 Pound Bag) These were all VERY good and fresh and I will order more and stick with this company. They were also ver courteous and prompt with order and delivery. Packing was done well too.

This was my first taste of Anteps, so I have nothing to compare them to, but they were tasty and seemed to be of a consistently high quality. Compared to standard Kerman pistachios (the variety commonly grown in U.S.) they are small, difficult to open, and have a crunchier texture and significantly different flavor. I probably prefer these, but its not so much that they're better, just different.

Ordering was a breeze, delivery prompt - the nuts were delicious. I did find there was a sutble taste difference from the Zenobia (granted yours are much less expensive because you can buy them in smaller lots) . The taste was a little less robust and the nuts less salty. I will consider buying your brand again. I have already recommened this brand to friends. Thank you

These remind me of the pistachios I had as a kid. I have my whole family hooked. I never even consider buying Ca nuts!! These have such a yummy flavor!!!

I've paid $20 more for the same item at another popular site for this particular nut and was far more satisfied with this purchase. Fresh, delicious and, to my mind, much more earthier and funky than the California version.

I've purchased from two other on-line sources and found that Superior Nut Company has the freshest pistachios.
