The White Jordan Almonds are my favorite. I always have them on hand. I reorder before I run out. The almonds are fresh & the coating not too sweet.

My daughter had decided not to give out the Jordan Almonds for her upcoming wedding until I told her that it is an Italian tradition; five almonds signify five wishes for the bride and groom, 'health, wealth, happiness, fertility, longevity'. So, we went on the hunt for almonds that weren't broken, stale, but most of all, cost prohibitive. Everywhere we went, we found 1 pound pre-packaged bags of almonds for no less than $8.50 [each bag contained approx 113 pieces]. That would have meant purchasing at least 7 bags, possibly 8, because you had to be certain there was no breakage. 7 lbs would have cost us approx $60, so I purchased the 10 lb bag for $45 from Nuts in Bulk. They arrived the next day and we couldn't be happier. Thanks.

We ordered the White Jordan almonds to make koufeta (little favor bags, Greek word) for an informal wedding reception for our daughter. They arrived quickly. As soon as I opened the box, I smelled the vanilla scent. The almonds were large and unbroken. When I brought the remaining almonds in the bag to my mother's home, she was very pleased and said they were perfect (and met with her approval!!). We are using the almonds as part of the candy in favors for our daughter's wedding. The Jordan almonds were shipped and received in a timely manner. When we were putting them into the favor boxes, we did not find one single almond that was cracked or broken. The count was accurate, which was important since we allotted 5 almonds per box, as is tradition.

I bought these Jordan almonds for my wedding favors. I was looking forward to eating the deffective ones, the ones that weren't pretty enough to make the cut.
