These nuts are pure heaven. Fresh, just the right amount of salt, and I searched long and hard for oil-roasted macadamias. Couldn't be happier.
Pros
- The flavor -- I like oil-roasted macadamias, and they're hard to find, and NIB uses just the right amount of salt, which is *also* hard to find.
Cons
- The price. I know mac nut butter is made from broken halves and pieces, but unless I buy over 10 pounds at a time, I'm paying more for the halves and pieces than the processed macadamia nut butter! It's for this reason that I only buy macs from NIB when they're not in season -- in season, my local Meijer sells whole macadamias, oil roasted, cheaper in 1-pound packs.

Good flavor, but very greasy, think they were roasted a bit long, too, as color is quite dark. A little less oil, a little less time, and they would be perfect.

- I would have preferred the 10 pounds I ordered to be packaged differently. They were placed in a big plastic bag with a tie on it. Onter Items I ordered in 4# quantity came in resealable bags, which I prefer.

The macadamia nuts were super easy to order on line and arrived quickly, so I had them in plenty of time for the Christmas cookie baking! They were impossible to find here in Central NY.

It wasn't that salty but, it was a little too oily. I took a ziploc bag sprinkled a liitle salt in the bag and shook it around. After that the macadamias were evenly coated and little bit drier. I couldn't keep my hands out of the bag after that, neither could my family.

I believe the macadamia nuts are a good value, I was somewhat disappointed in that they were roasted in peanut oil.
The nuts had a lot of oil and I really expected a less oily product. Nevertheless, I will probably purchase them again as the price far outweighs the negative of the peanut oil.

- A little too oily, although peanut oil is a better alternative than soy based oils to which I am allergic.

I was unable to find any unsalted Macadamia Nut Butter so I purched these to make my own. I used the standard shipping and received them within a few days. They were good and fresh. The only thing I didn't like was they were a bit oily.
